MANNA - the performing name of Manna Pourrezaei - is a Philadelphia-based modular synthesist whose slow-evolving, expansive live electronic music sets invite deep listening & connection. Her synthetic works balance fluidity with surprising shifts in tone & space, encouraging listeners to engage with sound through gentle observation rather than expectation.

MANNA has captivated audiences in venues both intimate and vast—performing at Making Time Fort Mifflin alongside Laraaji, Mary Lattimore, and Julianna Barwick, at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, The Gatherings Concert Series, and within the immersive realms of Great Circles' Passages Ambient Channels and Crossings A/V Series. Her recent release on Mystery Circles - Joyful Participation in the Sorrows of Now - was composed as an exercise in the generative power of sound & synthesis. Drawing from her studies in literature, philosophy, psychology, and the brain & behavior, MANNA's work is deeply informed by her research into the neuropsychological effects of yoga, meditation, and the creative process.
